Reliance group is in discussion these days due to the retail business. Recently, Reliance took over Kishore Biyani's Future Group (Big Bazaar) under debt. Now Reliance's plan is to strengthen the retail business in India and also take it to the international level. According to experts tracking Reliance Industries, the company is track down e-commerce and retail business at international level. In this, he will directly compete with Amazon. 

Market analyst Jignesh Madhwani said that on the basis of Jio, Reliance Retail has targeted to reach more than 40 crore consumers simultaneously. The company wants it to benefit in the e-commerce business through Jio as well.

Reliance Group entered the retail sector 15 years ago. Reliance Retail's revenue grew by 3,472% in the last 10 years. The company's revenue in 2009-10 was Rs 4,565 crore. It increased to Rs 1.62 lakh crore in 2019-20. Revenue has been above Rs 1 lakh crore for the last two years. It is possible to grow Rs 2 lakh crore in 2020-21.

D-Mart and Tata Retail Ventures too lag behind Reliance Retail.

Future Bazaar's biggest brand Big Bazaar has a presence in more than 200 cities. With its takeover, Reliance Retail's space will increase to 5.25 million square feet. Reliance can use this as a delivery center.

Due to so many stores, its delivery in e-commerce business will be fast. Reliance is building a strategy to deliver in 12 hours or less.

Reliance Retail is associated with around 45 foreign brands. These are all high premium and luxury brands. These foreign brands are sold in 682 Reliance Retail stores. The company wants that more and more global brands are entered in the international brand portfolio.
